Well, the time to finally play Bad Company 2 is still not open for everyone. But for those who have pre-ordered the Limited Edition from Steam can now play the beta of Bad Company 2.

As I’m hugely impressed by what I have seen so far, I’m in for the beta. In fact I’m downloading it right now, but at the slow speed at 100kb/s.

It’s an half hour now (18:31 CET) since the beta became available, and for those who have pre-ordered can find the game under their games. You will need around 1,5 GB of space for the Beta, the final game is 11 GB. That clearly indicates the beta is quite limited. It’s properly more like the Demo, that became  available online XBL few hours ago. I don’t know about a demo for the PS3, sorry.

I hope you can use this info, if you’re considering trying it, and you have a Xbox 360… Then go for it :D

Update: The first part was Easy. Getting the beta, but because of overload it’s running wild and makes the game crash in the menu.
It says in the ingame menu that; They are working nonstop to fix the issues.

Update2: It seems that the problem is being fixed, it’s now a bit playable, a better solution should not be too far away.

Update3: Now it’s running fine, of a beta. One player have already played 30 hours and 11 minutes. That’s pretty impressive.

Information on the official RFG Blog is telling people that there will be a demo of Red Faction “3″ available on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace from April 23rd.
The demo will be Single Player, and fill around 1 Gigabyte.

Take control of Alec Mason and his trusty sledgehammer while making your way through an EDF compound in order to fulfill Kepler’s objective. You’ll also gain control of one of my personal favorite vehicles in RFG, the Heavy Mining Walker.

Oh and check out the propaganda picture I found from RFG. (It’s clickable!)

I have just got off the Xbox Live Marketplace, starting my download on the 1.78 GB installation of Lost and Damned.
Set me back 1600 MS-Points, so I’ll hope it be worth it.

Gametrailers is posting a lot of Lost and Damned materials in form of Trailers (funny). There’s both a Intro, Story Gameplay and The Lost vs Angels of Death Gameplay.
I don’t want to post it, or see it [yet], because I don’t want to ruin others and my expectations of the DLC before playing. But it’s said to be big.. Real big..

You can add Lost and Damned DLC to your Xbox 360′s Download-queue on Marketplace by clicking here.

Seeing a face I know, or the ending..

Halo Demo

The Halo Wars demo is on XBL…
I must say, that I’m impressed. :D (In some ways)

I’ll also provide a link to Xbox Live Marketplace, so you can add it to your download queue ^^

What the devlopers of Halo Wars said.

Halo Wars is a strategy game based on the legendary Halo® universe. Command entire armies of Spartans, Warthogs and more into combat as you join the crew of the “Spirit of Fire” to battle the alien Covenant. Designed from the ground up for the Xbox 360, Halo Wars let you effortlessly command powerful armies in epic battles.

What I said.

I’m a real huge RTS fans of most well-done RTS-genre games.
To say, I was skeptical.. But the demo impressed me quite some, because it’s an RTS for console.. It’s really easy to navigate and it got the most of the Halo universe experience with it.
Also to say, it would be a mistake of RTS and halo fans not to try it out ^^
Though I had a friend over to try it out, and he’s often pretty ‘straight forward’ when it comes to games.. He’s set at Gears of War 2 and that “high-bling” stuff.. He said that the controls were mostly annoying him, and that’s what got him to put it down.
